Love this item!
Wonderful addition to your festive outdoor decor! I placed it in the center of my driveway island for Labor Day and the neighbors loved it... as a storm was rolling in, I moved it to my potted plant next to the front door and my guests all want one now! Thank you!

Nice holiday decoration
Item is bigger than some reviews led me to believe. I found it to be a nice size, not too big or too small. Painting is nice. Will look great on front porch for the 4th.

This is something different , I really liked it and think it is well made, the only thing is, it is not as tall as the picture leads you to believe , but was perfect where I placed it.

Cute Americana
This product is incredibly cute. Even though it was packaged well, I had to glue the spindle back to Uncle Sam's body. Other than that, looks very cute by my porch stairs.

the best
i ordered this to use as a patriotic doorprzse for a seniors' club. It is well made except for a few adjustments in screwing the head and base to the body so that they face the front.
These Uncle Sam plant stakes can be used in the ground or in a pot. They are not found n retail stores. My committee is extermely happy.

cute inside
I ordered this about 5 years ago. I have never used it outside because I don't want the sun or rain to harm it, especially the fabric pieces. I just don't use the bottom stake that's supposed to go in the ground. I have him in a narrow corner in my front entrance hall facing the front door. He's one of the first things everyone sees upon entering. If you are using it indoors, he needs to be in a place where no one will brush against him as he is not so stable without the bottom stake. None of my guests has ever knocked him over, not even the toddlers. I have 4 indoor cats and have never had a problem with them bumping into him even though they go over to sniff him every year when I put him out. Just put him somewhere so that the flag is pointing toward a wall, not out into a walkway. If you have large houseplants, you could probably attach him to the bottom stake and stick it in the dirt. Be sure to keep the box and padding he arrives in for storage. If you store the stake next to the wooden pieces, they might get scratched up.
