Great serving piece for fall
Loved this unique serving dish. Unlike other reviews, I had no problem with the leaves on mine staying up when storing.

LOVED THE WAY THE LEAVES FOLD UP FOR STORAGE, AND WHEN OPENED TO USE THE LEAVES HAVE LOVELY AUTUMN COLOR

The tray doesn't have a closure piece so when you aren't using it it doesn't stay together, the other trays I have of this style all have some sort of latch to keep it together when it is being stored or displayed closed. I was disappointed about that.

Cute, but leaves fall down
Like some other reviewers mentioned, the leaf trays do not stand upright; they fall down in the upright position. The joints are loose. Despite the reviews, I still bought one hoping mine would not have the same problem, but when it arrived, it did. One of the leaf trays does not stand upright and falls down. So I have to prop it up against the back of a wall or the back of the china cabinet so it doesn't fall down.

Good concept, bad execution
Idea for this was very good ... but the quality was bad. The hinges are not tight enough and so the leaves don't stay in the folded up position - which is the point of this product that it can be folded for easier storage. Also since the hinges aren't tight enough the leaves don't stay in the open positions either, they droop so they're not horizontal and so can't hold anything - my husband has to rig up something to get them to stay upright for me. For almost $20 this is one of the more expensive things from Terry's Village so I expected a touch higher quality.
