Turkey Pinwheel Yard Stakes
Cute, but they don't spin
These are cute, but sort of flimsy. They don't spin and the paint scratches off easily.

These pinwheels looked great... for about a week. After the first windy day, two of them fell apart -- the pinwheels fell off. After an attempted repair, they lasted less than 24 hours.

IT DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO SPIN, BUT IT LOOKS NICE FOR DISPLAY.

Cute, fair quality, but poorly packaged.
These arrived promptly.
The packaging provided no padding between the items, so although the parts were separated from each other by cardboard, they got slightly crushed in shipping. The tail disks were mostly flattened even where they hadn't been bent by impact during shipment. I spent about half an hour flattening all the tail feathers and then putting a twist in them so that they would spin. Each of the turkey body shapes is on a spring, all of which had been flattened to one side and needed to be bent back into place. (None of this bending was difficult as the metals involved are thin. I did it all with just my fingers.)
One of the three had been assembled wrong and would not spin. I had to pry the bearing off the shaft and seat it properly in the tail disk to fix it.
The paint job looks good from eight or ten feet away, but up close it has the "rushed" kind of flaws I've come to expect in inexpensive decorative pieces like these.
They do look nice from a distance and the tails will spin if the wind is strong enough.

They are thin and bend easy. They may not last long.

I bought these for my garden for Thanksgiving . Big mistake . No matter how windy it is they don't spin. Also one turkey was broken. Terry's Village will replace but have to go to post office to send back. Not worth the trouble or money.
