So happy!!
I have a friend that sent me money for my 50th bday and said to buy something for myself to remind me of the 2 of us. Even though we didn't know each other when we were little, I loved the 2 girls. Most statues are a girl and a boy. I looked everywhere for something like this for almost 2 yrs and was so happy to finally order this (I saw a friend had this statue, I loved it but kept hoping I could just walk in somewhere and buy something like it). So glad I decided to break down and order this on Saturday. AND I got it delivered today - Tues!!!! That is fast service!!!
OH, and my jar came with a lid. Not sure if this was a change that was just put in but I see all of the comments of people not having a lid with their jar.

was disappointed
I was very disappointed in the garden girls. They have good height but are very light weight for the garden and for the price.The glass jar will not stay on the hand,it has no cover.The butterfly is just flat on the bottom of the jar,will probably just rust after it holds rain water.

Just okay product
Nice size but not made to last. After only two weeks it has started to turn colors. The faces aren't very cute like in the picture and the butterfly aren't attached inside the jar....it just lays flat.....not noticable and cute at all. I'm not very impressed.

Not a good buy
I was very unhappy with this product and usually I love your stuff. The size was good but the weight was very light and I am concerned about it falling over in wind gusts. The hand was broken where the catcher needs to be held. The jar should have a lid for when it rains and the butterfly that goes inside should be fixed so it stands up to be seen rather then laying down inside.

butterfly nectar food makes this perfect for any garden
The jar needs to be open fill with butterfly or hummingbird nectar. Encourages the propagation of butterflies which we need to do.

Butterfly Jar Needs Lid
This statue is adorable and a great value for the price, BUT the butterfly jar needs a lid. The jar is made with the twist marks for a lid - it collects water when it rains and is hard to empty when the jar is taped to the girl's hand with the double stick tape included. Please provide a lid - when you are catching butterflies you would cover with a lid so they would not fly away!

This was a birthday gift. My sister loved it. She loved it so much she put it in her entrance hall instead of her garden where I intended it to be placed. Thanks !
