Quality Control?
I got this for my wife who is a huge snowman fan. She was happy with how cute the character looked, but not so thrilled with the overall quality. There was a large scuff mark on one of the feet (obviously not meant to appear as snow), and the screw which was set in the resin tray for holding the dowel was at a severe angle. When put together, the pole extended out away from the snowman, so he appeared to be hugging thin air. The other items we ordered were in fine shape. I would do business with this company again.

Not a good purchase
The Item is very cute, but it is not made well. The paper towel roll falls off of the snowman everytime you pull a paper towel out. It is not made as a one piece item. The base of the snowman does not stay in when you pull on a piece of paper towel, and the poll does not stay on securely into the base. I really liked the way the snowman looked just disappointed on how it was made.

Cute Paper Towel Holder
As soon as I saw this in the cataloge I fell in love with it and had to get it. I love the scarf on him, the snowflake on top of where you put the actual paper towels, and his cute little smile.

Not Functional
A single roll of towels is too big for it. The base is not attached to the snowman so when you try to pull a paper towel off the the base pulls completely away from the snowman. Cute as a decoration but worthless as a functional towel holder. To ship back would be $11.00. So refund of $9.00 hardly seems worth the trouble. Maybe I can get $2.00 at a yard sale. Customer service was not helpful. Will not be purchasing from this company again.

Nice item to put out when entertaining
However, while the appearance is charming, there seems to be a design problem. When you try to pull off the paper towel, the whole towel holder pulls away from the snowman. Thus, it becomes just a decoration rather than something useful!

USELESS
There is no screw "sleeve" in the base, so the towel holder just falls over. What a waste of money.

Adorable
I have had this snowman paper towel holder for 4-5 years now. I'm not sure what others are saying about the snowman not being attached because mine is all 1 piece as shown in the picture. There is nothing wrong with the dowel or paint and a full size roll of the towels I use fits perfectly. I love him and have received many positive comments over the years.
