Now... to find my pine cones!
I have pine cones of all sizes packed away with my Christmas stuff. I am pretty sure I have some that will work in these reindeer. Very clever idea.

Pinecone Fun
I've used these to make cute Christmas decorations with my grandchildren. First of all you need 3.5-4" pinecones and you put them in end first with point going to tail. We put in tiny bulbs and then used glue glitter on each segment. (See picture) It was fun to see everyone's creations.

reindeer set
I thought they would be smaller. I was hoping to put votive cups in mine with some christmas candles in them. Even if they had been the right size, I didn't realize that it does have a slight intended tilt to the body. Not sure what to do with them yet, so they just sit plain on the shelf together so far. I still like them, just my plans for them have changed.

Versatile as your imagination!
Better than pictured! I plan to place a Holiday ornament in it, or a caramel popcorn ball, or bling it up with small garland. This holder can be as versatile as your imagination!

Pinecone Reindeer
Very cute idea, but the picture in the catalog shows them with a pinecone in the center. You would have to use a really, really large pinecone in order for it to fit in there, which is what I really wanted to do. Hopefully I'll be able to figure something out; otherwise, I could use a little clay flower pot with a Christmas spray in it, as shown on line.
