Great for Christmas
This is the third Moose Planter I've purchased. The first two I gave to others as Christmas gifts ... after adding festive holiday ornaments and greenery as headgear. Needless to say, both moose provided lots of laughs and comments around their respective Christmas trees. This last purchase was for myself. How could I not have one of my very own??? For those with a "rustic" or "ecclectic" decor AND an off-beat sense of humor, this moose will fit right in with your lifestyle.

Moooooose planter
This item is so stinkin cute I can't stand it. I bought it for a friend for Christmas. (We have a private joke about "the moose outside. . .".) It arrived quickly about two weeks before the holiday. The base had been smashed during shipping. The Terry's Village customer service people were excellent. I had a new planter in a week and am delighted. I've found this company extremely customer oriented. It's a pleasure doing business with them. More companies should follow their example.
Can't wait to give the moose to my friend.

So cute!
This is the cutest moose ever! Just remember to keep it out of the direct sun or it will fade. And remember it doesn't have any drain holes so if you put a plant in it, beware! This moose has a great face. You will love it!

keep out of sun
Although I loved this item, it is now almost white after being on my pool deck in the sun. If you purchase it, I would recommend putting it in a shaded area. There it should retain the color. Also--- there is no drainage for it to be used as a planter and when it rains the water has no place to drain and it kills the plant so it must be placed where it will be hand watered and not receive rain.

Very Pleased!
I purchased this planter for my step daughter. She saw it last year in the catalog & was a little disappointed she didn't get it for Christmas. Seeing her disappointment I decided to get it for her birthday in Feb.
When she opened it she instantly fell in love with this planter. She loves Moose everything plus they are building a log home. This will be a beautiful accent to it or a rustic home or country/farm style home.
I would definitly recommend this Moose Planter.

First Return ever
I've never returned anything I have purchased from
Terry's Village because it was always a quality product. The Moose Planter looks way better in the picture. The paint job was quite poor and the pot on top of the head is so shallow you couldn't get much of anything to stay in it. I guess you could use it for a candy dish.

excellent addition to Lodge theme!
My sister in law's home is the Lodge theme and this was a perfect gift for her. This little guy is short but good quality.
