We purchased these for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service this year as we are now wroship in a retirement community that does not permit wax candles for the lighting ceremony. These were perfect.
It was a little difficult to put the batteries in. We found one candle was broken, so I do recommend extra candles are purchased.

Not Terry's Village normal quality
The bulb must be turned on the candles in order to light up; however, my husband was inserting the batteries and the internal wires came lose on two. I did the same to two more before the batteries were in all twelve. I was very disappointed for the price I paid. Terry's Village products are normally of the best quality.

Caroler Candles
Used the candles for a high school theater production...they were adequate, but one should take caution as they are easily breakable. The bulbs tend to come apart if turned too hard.
